Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also voiced its response. Party’s Spokesperson, Naeem-ul-Haq, stated that the Panama Papers did not mention PTI chairman Imran Khan’s sisters. He added that these accusations were merely being leveled for the purpose of blackmail.

He further stated that the government wants to curb PTI’s demand for investigation. He added that the party will not let go of the matter so easily however.

Opposition had earlier provided the government a questionnaire consisting of 7 questions over Panama Leaks, which it has demanded that the PM should answer to them in the Parliament.
