  • PTI to hold rally, not sit-in on Nov 30: Mehmood Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi Monday said that his party would hold a public gathering and not sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad at the end of the current month.

Talking to media in Multan, Qureshi said that PTI has so far held peaceful rallies, adding that temperament of November 30 rally would depend upon the government’s attitude.

He said if arrests of the PTI workers were made, it would be the government’s undemocratic move. “Holding peaceful protest is our right and we would not back out of our plan,” the senior PTI leader reaffirmed.

He invited all political parties to attend the PTI rally in the federal capital on November 30.

Qureshi further stated that his party held a successful show in Gujranwala. “Our posters were torn apart in Gujranwala, but we remained peaceful,” he added.
