Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhter at Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Monday.
DG ISI briefed PM on the collective security situation at Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary in addition to informing him about the success and progress of operation Zarb-e-Azb and operation Khyber-1 being carried out against the militants. Army’s professional matters also came under discussion. PM Nawaz commended ISI’s role in defending the country.
