Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Saturday said that the matter of North Waziristan’s internally displaced persons (IDPs) is federal government’s subject.

Talking to media at Bani Gala Saturday, Khan said FATA is federally administered region, so, he added the matter of IDPs from the area is not Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s issue. He said that 3 million IDPs have come so far from tribal areas. Responding to a query over Marvi Memon’s sit-in against arrest of IDPs in Bannu, the PTI chief said that Marvi should stop staging ‘drama’ and she should ask the federal government as to what they have done so far for the IDPs.

Replying to another question, Khan said that if the government succeeds to present evidence of his involvement in the attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) building, he would quit politics. “Not even a single accused was arrested in Model Town tragedy case,” he added.
