Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) head Altaf Hussain said that establishment of new provinces was the need of hour.
In a media statement on Tuesday, Hussain said that new provinces would strengthen the federation of Pakistan and not weaken it.
He said MQM has waged a practical struggle for the promotion of brotherhood in Sindh. He, however, lamented that nationalist parties never considered Mohajirs as sons of Sindh.
“Whenever there is a discussion for new provinces in Pakistan, Sindhi nationalists start making threats,” he stated.
