The accused in killing of traffic warden, Sub-inspector Haji Attaullah, in Quetta MPA Majeed Achakzai has been enjoying air conditioner facility along with other home like treatment in jail.
MPA Majeed Achakzai was on remand in jail, however nevertheless police ‘kindness’ on him continue and now he has been provided air conditioner as he was feeling hot in jail. The police is not treating him as accused and continuously providing all facilities what he demanded.
On June 24, Pashtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PkMAP) MPA Abdul Majeed Achakzai, who has been arrested by police for running his vehicle over a sub-inspector of traffic police in Quetta, has been produced before the court and police has obtained his five-day physical remand.
Achakzai was arrested last night from his house in connection with the traffic sergeant killing case. Initially the FIR has been registered against unknown person, however he was nominated as main accused after his arrest.
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party MPA Dr Abdul Majeed Khan Achakzai, whose vehicle ran over a traffic policeman in Quetta earlier this week, was presented in court twice on Saturday.
During his first appearance, the MPA was seen being taken to court without any handcuffs and also misbehaved with members of the media. The MPA was not placed in remand during this appearance, however, when he was presented in court the second time, Achakzai was placed in police remand for five days.
While expressing anger over coverage of the incident, Achakzai said the media could not obtain the video of the explosion that took place in Quetta on Friday, but got their hands on an accident footage.
