Four members of an outlawed organisation were arrested during an operation conducted by security forces in Zhob district on Monday in search for six kidnapped officials of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited.
The PTCL officials, including two senior engineers, were kidnapped three days ago when they were going to the Gawal Ismailzai area for repairing a booster.
Suspected terrorists belonging to a banned organisation from Sharana, Killi Gat and Gawal Ismailzai areas were arrested, a Frontier Corps spokesman said. During the operation, a large quantity of illegal arms and ammunition was seized, he added. “The operation will continue till the recovery of the PTCL officials,” he said.
