A heartthrob not only in Pakistan but around the world, Fawad Khan, has once again been nominated for Filmfare awards.
The actor has been got nominated for the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017 in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) catergory for his role in Kapoor & Sons.
He became the first Pakistani to win the prestigious award in 2015 in the Best Male Debut category for ‘Khoobsurat’.
Two Pakistani singers have been nominated in the Best Playback Singer (Male) category. Atif Aslam for Tere Sang Yara (Rustom) and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for Jag Ghoomeya (Sultan).
Atif have also been nominated before for the award but did not manage to win it however; Rahat among numerous nominations in different years won the Filmfare award in 2011 for his song Dil Toh Bacha Hai, Ishqiya.
For the very first time, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch (QB) has been nominated in the Best Playback Singer (Female) category for her song Kari Kari in Pink.
