Hindu militant outfits Shiv Sena and Vishwa Hindu Prasad staged a protest at the concert of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan here while police arrested 35 protesters and four trying to extort Rs 4,000 for allowing the concert to continue.
Police has registered a case against those trying to extort money but released the arrested protesters after the program concluded.
According to Indian media Rahat performed at a concert in Gandhi Nagar, Ahmedabad on Saturday during which workers of the two militant outfits arrived at the venue and tried to stage protest.
