Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after experiencing shortness of breath.
The actor was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after he fell sick, where he underwent a heart operation.
According to the report, Bachchan fell ill and was subsequently admitted to the hospital, where he underwent an angioplasty procedure. The decision for the operation was made after the actor complained of feeling uneasy while attending events.
Bachchan was subsequently taken to hospital for a checkup, where doctors suggested he undergo the operation, the media report cites. The veteran actor is said to be in stable condition and is reportedly feeling better following the procedure.

The news of Bachchan's hospitalization has garnered widespread concern among fans and well-wishers, who are eagerly awaiting updates on his health status.
Earlier this year also, Amitabh had undergone a surgery for his wrist. In January, he was seen in pictures sporting a sling on his wrist. Moroever, in March last year, Bachchan was injured while shooting for Kalki 2898 AD in Hyderabad, with a harness straining his back, following which he was on bed rest for some time. He had suffered from a torn muscle and strained rib cartilage.
