PM adviser on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh presided a huddle wherein social, economic needs of districts of tribal areas were reviewed.
Addressing the moot, PM adviser on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh said that federal government will help out the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the social, economic development of erstwhile FATA while the financial package of the development project of the FATA will also be increased.
Timely provision of funds to the FATA areas will be ensured while work will be carried out for improvement of the electricity system, roads, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh said.
The provincial finance minister told the huddle the development funds of the FATA will be used in the social sector, health and promotion of education.
