The newly inducted Boeing 777, in Pakistan International Airline (PIA) fleet, has started flights with first flight of the aircraft left Karachi to Islamabad at 4pm.
The first flight en-route Islamabad from Karachi carrying 300 passengers see off by the PIA Chief Operating Officer Zia Qadir Qureshi.
Boeing 777 will resume its international flights from Saturday, tomorrow.
The aircraft acquired on dry lease and painted with PIA logo and colour. PIa Chairman Irfan Elahi expressed gladness over the start of Boeing 777 operation while Chief Executive Nayer Hayat said that induction of 12th Boeing 777 will assist to widen the PIA operation.
