    World Bank on Saturday projected that the growth rate of Pakistan economy will remain 5.2 percent during the ongoing fiscal year.

    The Bank released performance report on Pakistan economy. As per the reform, during the ongoing fiscal year growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will reamin 5.2 percent.

    The bank project GDP growth for then country for next fiscal year at 5.5 percent. The bank said that Pakistan was unlikely to achieve 6 percent growth rate even in next two year.

    Country Director WB Illango Patchamuthu said that the high pace of growth by Pakistan economy was a good news.

    Patchamuthu said that the pace of economic reforms undertaken by the incumbent government was slow which needed to be accelerated for higher and sustained growth rate.
