The dollar continued to gain value against the rupee on Friday, with an increase of 8 paisas on Friday.
The change took the dollar’s interbank value to Rs283.50. On Thursday, the dollar had gained 78 paisas to go from Rs282.65 to Rs283.43.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange continued to rise as trading began on Friday, with the 100-index gaining 265 points to reach 52,922 points.
