Britain, France, Germany and Turkey have agreed to take practical steps to end attacks on Syrian civilians in Idlib.

In a statement, ahead of a NATO summit in London, four countries vowed to work for creating conditions for safe, voluntary and sustainable return of refugees.

They also agreed the fight must be continued against terrorism in all its forms.

"The leaders said they would work to create the conditions for the safe, voluntary and sustainable return of refugees and that the fight must be continued against terrorism in all its forms," Prime Minister Boris Johnson's office said in a statement.
