A Pakistani national in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been honoured for bravery and helping law enforcers arrest a wanted criminal.

Picture of Muzaffar Hussain Nathar was posted on social media as he was acknowledged by Deputy General Commander of Sharjah Police Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, Khaleej Times reported on Tuesday.

Muzaffar was widely appreciated for his act of valour as he notified the police and chased a wanted criminal until the police reached to the scene of the crime and arrested him.

Such acts of valour express the positive role of citizens, Brigadier Amir said.

The brave Pakistani also praised the role of the police, saying he hopes that his act of bravery will motivate others to assist the law enforcers.
