    A Palestinian woman died, before midnight on Friday, of a serious injury she sustained after Jewish settlers attacked the car she was aboard near Za’atara checkpoint, south of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.

    A Red Crescent official told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that 45-year-old Aisha Rabi, from Biddya town in Salfit, suffered a critical head injury after settlers throw a rock on the vehicle she was aboard along with her husband on a road near Za’atara checkpoint.

    The victim was rushed to Ibn Sina Emergency Center in Huwara town, where she died, and later her body was transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus.

    In recent days, Jewish settlers intensified their assaults on Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank, especially in southern Nablus.
