Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that government is focused on trade and economic cooperation instead of aid.
He expressed his views during a meeting with Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg on sidelines of World Economic Forum, during which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif underscored need for regular interaction at high level to boost ties further. In this regard, he extended an invitation to Norwegian Prime Minister to visit Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also said that Norway is a strong partner in investment, trade and development cooperation with Pakistan. On that occasion, Norwegian Prime Minister appreciated government’s business friendly policies and expressed desire to fully harness the trade potential offered by Pakistan acknowledging Pakistan’s economic revival.
