The Gandhara Hindko Academy (GHA) has launched Hindko language android application with an aim to teach children Hindko language alphabets along with mother tongue.
A ceremony, in this regard, was attended by GHA General Secretary Muhammad Ziauddin, Vice Chairman Dr Salahuddin, Prof Muhammad Aadil, Prof Fakhrul islam among others from different walks of life.
Speaking on the occasion, Zia said the Academy has written the history by launching of Hindko language android app.
He said mostly children belonging to Hindko speaking families have unaware about alphabetical identification of this language.
He informed that the purpose of launching this app was to create awareness among coming generation about importance of alphabets in Hindko language.
The app comprised of forty levels to make children understand Hindko language alphabets and help them read, write and speak the language fluently.
According to the GHA official, the app also featured drawing tools and traditional animated stories for better understanding the alphabets.
It is the second app of Hindko language after the first one – Hindko Matalan – which received wide appreciation across the society, he added.
Zia also appreciated the efforts of Khyber Coded Company which has developed this useful app for Hindko speaking society.
