An internet and telecom provider in United Arab Emirates (UAE) has promised to serve free WI-FI during Eid-ul-Azha holidays in the federation.
Etisalat telecom will provide free WI-FI in malls, cafes, airports, restaurants and other public places from August 30 to September 9. It has announced the plan for the religious festival of Eid-ul-Azha.
However, only the registered customers of this telecom company will be able to access the free WI-FI. They will need to use their mobile number and PIN number as login and password respectively. The PIN will be provided upon request for security concerns.
"For the spirit of Eid Al Adha, we want to be part of our customers celebration, ensuring they stay fully connected to their families and friends. Customers will experience high speed and quality free across Etisalat s public WiFi network to exchange greetings, share photos, access social networking websites and surf online,” said the company’s chief consumer officer to Khaleej Times.
