    Science Talent Farming Scheme launched in Islamabad File Photo

    The scheme has been devised by Pakistan Science Foundation to groom students from middle class to become future scientists.  The government has launched "Science Talent Farming Scheme" with initial funding of 1.5 billion rupees.

    Inaugurating the scheme in Islamabad on Wednesday, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said it will help students to fulfill their dream of getting quality education.

    The scheme has been devised by Pakistan Science Foundation to groom students from middle class to become future scientists.

    The Minister said the long term policies are a pre-requisite for continued national growth and the present Government's vision 2025 endorses the fact.

    Addressing on the occasion, Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain said prioritizing the science and technology sector will bring progressive future prospects for the country.

    He said the Science and Technology ministry will ensure speedy implementation of the Science Talent Farming Scheme.
