Pakistan’s javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem becomes the only Pakistani to directly qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Arshad Nadeem bagged Gold in his respective category in the ongoing South Asian Games in Kathmandu, Nepal. He made an exceptional throw of 86.48 metres to win the medal for his country.
In a video message, Arshad expressed his emotions and thanked people of Pakistan for supporting him. “This win is dedicated to all the people of Pakistan. I am happy to mark this achievement for my country,” he said.
“I am happy that this win takes me to the Olympics next year. I will try my best to bag medal for my country there as well,” he added.
