    World Soccer Stars is giving the local football talent of Pakistan a chance to play alongside legendary footballers when they arrive in Pakistan to play exhibition matches.

    Star footballers will play two exhibition matches, one in Karachi on April 27 and another one in Lahore on April 28.

    Trials for the national talent hunt programme have already taken place in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Quetta, with trails taking place in Lahore today (April 9) and in Karachi on April 20. Trials will be conducted under the guidance of Pakistan Football Federation team who will assist English coach Luis Rodriguez to scout for the talented individuals.

    Rodriguez will select 10 talented players to play alongside the World Soccer Star legends.

    “Touch Sky Group has been committed to developing grassroots football and has brought the English FA Coach to give an insight to the young players and inspire them to continue feeding their passion for football,” a press release said.

    Speaking to the media after the talent scouting session in Rawalpindi Rodriguez said he is surprised with the number of talented players in just one city. “There is a drive for football here that is not easily found everywhere and it’s heartening to see how young individuals are committed to make their football dreams a reality.”

    Ahmer Kunwar of TSG-World Soccer Stars said, “Our vision hails from top down and bottom up approach to drive appropriate structures across core levels of football in Pakistan. Getting local talent to play with World Soccer Stars is an effort to stimulate their football passion and inspire them to do more."

    A football match and concert featuring AKON will be held in Karachi on Saturday, April 27 and in Lahore on Sunday, April, 28.
