New Zealand rugby player Sonny Bill Williams posted an emotional tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch.
At least 49 people were killed in attacks on two Christchurch mosques with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern saying it marked “one of New Zealand’s darkest days”.
“Just heard the news and I cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. Just sending my duas to the families,” Williams who is a Muslim himself said in the video posted on Twitter.
“Inshallah everyone who has been killed today in Christchurch just sending my duas to your loved ones. Inshallah, you guys are all in paradise. I am just deeply deeply saddened that this would happen in New Zealand,” he added.
