    Shane Watson’s unbeaten 91 run-innings overshadowed Kamran Akmal’s half-century as Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by eight wickets in 23rd match of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) fourth season in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

    Opener Kamran Akmal’s 72 runs innings powered Peshawar Zalmi to 165 runs. Kieron Pollard’s unbeaten 44 runs innings with seven boundaries contributed substantive runs during the death overs of the game.

    Spinners Fawad Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz took a combined 2 for 49 in eight overs whereas Muhammad Hasnain and DJ Bravo took one-wicket each.

    Both teams are the table toppers, having obtained 10 points each as the Zalmi have an edge due to their better net run rate (0.852) against the Gladiators, who are placed second with NRR of 0.085.
