    A four-month ban on Pakistan’s batsman Ahmed Shehzad for breaching the board’s anti-doping rules is set to end today.

    Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) provisionally suspended the 27-year-old batsman for 4 months after he was found guilty of consuming ‘Marijuana’, a banned substance.

    His dope test was conducted during the Pakistan Cup 2018 in May.

    Shehzad’s ban which was supposed to be lifted on November 10 extended to six weeks for violating the Code of Conduct.

    The ban imposed was counted from July 10th, Shehzad accepted his offense but told that he did not commit the act to enhance his performance or cheat.

    The 26-years-old represented Pakistan in 13 Tests, 81 ODIs and 57 T20Is.
