Women racer Salma Khan became the Champion in women's category by covering the total distance in 37:48 minutes.

The Chief Guest of the event CM Gilgit Baltistan Mr. Hafiz Hafeez Ur Rehman visited the tent village in Cold Desert and inspected the local food stalls and craft's sample stalls.
Hafeez Ur Rehman vowed to increase the Sarfaranga desert rally on large scale and also the regional and cultural games related to it.
CM Hafeez instructed to increase the duration of Cold Desert Rally including all other events from three days to one week in coming year.
