Cricket World Cup Trophy tour of 2019 will begin on Monday, from ICC headquarters, Dubai. Trophy will tour five continents, 21 countries and 60 cities over the period of 9 months.
According to details, World Cup will held in England and Wales from May 30, 2019 to July 14, 2019. The trophy will start its journey from the ICC headquarters in Dubai on Monday, 27 August 2018. During the nine-month journey, the trophy will travel also connect with fans in a further 11 countries where cricket is still growing.
The most connected Trophy Tour ever will allow fans around the world to get up close to the coveted prize. From UAE, the trophy will travel to Oman, the USA, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany before arriving in England and Wales on 19 February, 2019.
The trophy will arrive in Lahore on October 3 and will be displayed for public at the Gaddafi Stadium on the very next day.
During its journey, the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy will visit iconic and unusual locations, communities, schools, universities and even people’s homes in a bid to connect people globally. Trophy will be arriving in England and Wales on 19 February, 2019 for a 100-day domestic Trophy Tour.
Pakistan will play its first match against West-Indies on May 31, at Trent Bridge. While, neighboring rivals Pakistan and India will compete on June 16, at Old Trafford.
