The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is mulling to hold opening ceremony of the flagship Pakistan Super League’s (PSL-2019) fourth installment in Pakistan.
PCB and all six franchises are also mulling to not draft those players who are not willing to travel to Pakistan. Furthermore, no extra compensation will be given to those players who will travel to Pakistan. The owners—during the meeting in Lahore—also expressed concerns over poor level of umpiring .
The officials of PCB stressed on franchises to hike the bonuses of the players.
PSL—since its inception back then in 2016—has emerged as one of the most successful and prominent franchise-based league in the word. The final of PSL-3 and two knock-out matches were played in Karachi and Lahore respectively.
