Aaron Finch is set to retire from one-day internationals following Australia's ongoing series against New Zealand, announced Cricket Australia on Saturday.

Finch, who has played 145 ODI matches with 54 as captain, will continue to lead the men's T20 side.

The 2015 World Cup winner, Finch, made his ODI debut in 2013 and scored 5041 runs including 17 centuries and 30 fifties at an average of 39.13. The Australian opener, however, has endured a run of low scores in the recent past.
