  • Four TTP (Tehrik E Taliban Pakistan) Activists Among 05 Arrested In Karachi

    KARACHI: Police have arrested five terror suspects, including five alleged activists of banned Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

    According to the SSP Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Farooq Awan, a man was arrested for collecting extortion in the name of Taliban and recovered pistol from his possession.

    Accused Bilal Khan son of Gulan Khan was arrested from Ferozabad. He had sent a bullet to his employer Suleman Merchant to demand ‘bhatta’ (extortion) using the name of the Taliban.

    Meanwhile, SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam said that, CID police in its operation in Manghopir arrested four activists of TTP and recovered two hand grenades and four TT pistols.

    The accused have confessed their involvement in 12 crimes including extortion and killing. Further interrogation is underway.
