Rs 61.64 Region-1 and Rs 54.16 Region-2 new rates after govt reduces price of CNG.
Government of Pakistan Thursday reduced the price of CNG by Rs 30.90 at the directions of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
CNG will be sold at the rate of Rs 61,64 in Region-1 and Rs 54.16 in Region-2.
It has also been decided that prices of CNG and petroleum prices will not be revised on weekly basis.
According to sources previous practice of adjusting prices after every six months will be restored.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan Wednesday in an interim order took strong exception to the increased prices of CNG and petroleum products and also ordered the government to shun the practice of weekly revision of prices.
