  • Karachi violence claims 13 lives

    At least 12 people were killed in violence and firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.

    Karachiites are suffering as violence and target killing continues in the city. According to details, a man named Hamid in firing incident in Ghani Chorangi while an activist of a religious part, Waqar, was gunned down in Golimar area. Two people were also wounded in the incident.

     

    Ashiq Hussain was gunned down in Kimari while Muhammad Farooq was killed in Neelam Colony area of Clifton. Some unidentified gunmen shot dead two people in Orangi Town and Khairabad.

     

    In another incident of target killing, a man named Yousaf Bangali was shot dead in Docks area while some miscreants threw dead body of police official Zahir near Lee Market. Police have also recovered a mutilated dead body from Manghupir area while a 16-year-old girl was killed in Abbas Town.

     

    Meanwhile, police conducted a raid on the office of a banned organization in Dalmia area and recovered arms from there. In a separate development, Rangers arrested two accused of gang war during a raid in Saifi Line area of Lyari and also recovered two machineguns, 10 hand grenades, three rifles and eight pistols.
