The advisor to chief minister Sindh Murtaza Wahab alleged on Wednesday that party leadership being trapped in fake cases and protest over the issue was a democratic right.

Talking to media outside the Sindh assembly, Murtaza Wahab said that PPP turned the dream of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto into reality by the functioning of Thar Coal Power Generation in the month of March as it was the result of real hard work of the Sindh government.

“Sheikh Rashid and Fawad are trying to gain popularity by criticizing Bilawal,” he said adding that the month of March has great significance for PPP as the resolution of Pakistan passed in this month and the party has crossed an important milestone in the month.

He informed that Thar coal has started generating power and it is being transferred to the national grid.

Replying to a question, PPP leader said that the Thar has high standard coal and using it precious foreign reserves can be saved.
