The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter launched a three-day Difa-e-Pakistan March from Karachi on Sunday morning to express solidarity with Pakistan army for defending the motherland and responding to Indian aggression befittingly.

The march began from Cantt Station under the stewardship of PTI parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh and other party lawmakers from Sindh.

Speaking to the media before boarding Awami Express, Haleem Adil said the march after passing through different railway stations would reach Rahim Yar Khan from where it would be held by road.

On March 11, he said, the march would reach Larkana after passing through different districts of Sindh province.

A big rally has been planned at Larkana where the participants would stay for a night, he added.

The PTI leader said the march would start from Larkana on March 12 and would end at Sehwan Sharif.

He said the march was being staged for the defence and stability of the motherland and to express solidarity with armed forces, adding that the peace march would pass through 22 towns and cities of Sindh province.

Haleem Adil said they wanted to convey a message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi through this march that he should desist from casting an evil on Pakistan.

“We want to tell Modi that we are ready to fight and die for the motherland.”

Lauding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s role to defuse tensions between Pakistan and India, he said the prime minister didn’t made tall claims like Modi but took practical steps.
