At least five people were killed in different incidents of violence in Karachi.
According to details, Akram Baloch was shot dead in Lyari Jahanabad area of Karachi. Baloch was the president of Timber market located on Mahmood Shah road.
Meanwhile, four bodies have been recovered from different areas of Karachi since midnight.
Two dead bodies were recovered from Musa Lane area of Lyari. One of the deceased was identified as 26-year-old Ali Shan while the identy of the other is not yet known. Police said that the deceased were shot dead after abduction.
Two more dead bodies, stuffed in gunny bags, were found lying near Custom House in Kemari. Police have shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital.
In another incident of violence, some unidentified persons opened fire in Nasir Goth area and wounded 6-year-old Hira Parveen.
