At least six people died and several others injured after a gas cylinder of a Sehwan-bound passenger vehicle exploded near Khairpur district of the Sindh province.
As per details, the incident occurred in a Sehwan-bound passenger van at a village named Kolab Jail near Khairpur district, claiming lives of six people and injuring several others.
The rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies and injured to the Civil Hospital Khairpur for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.
An emergency had been declared in the hospital due to the large number of affectees. The police has initiated probe into the incident but is yet to find out the reason which caused the cylinder to explode.
