Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan has asserted on Saturday that the rift between PIB Colony chapter and Bahadurabad faction of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) would be resolved within a day or two.
Izharul Hassan said today that some very good recommendations concerning resolution of the rift have been put forth and details of integration of the two factions are being finalised.
Earlier today, parliamentary leader of the political organisation Syed Sardar Ahmed convened a meeting with PIB Colony leader Dr Farooq Sattar for four hours and told the media afterwards that holding of intra-party polls tomorrow does not seem plausible.
On the other hand, Kamran Tessori has said that he is yet to respond to leaders of Bahadurabad faction who leveled allegations against him and maligned him.
He said that he is holding his words to save the efforts of reconciliation from being sabotaged.
Workers of the party would not let Bahadurabad leaders take a step towards the office if he opens his mouth, Kamran Tessori warned.
Tessori said that he considers Dr Farooq Sattar his leader by heart and he is currently staying in Islamabad on his instructions.
