While addressing an event, opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah on Saturday said that if former prime minister Pervez Musharraf calls himself a lion, he should come to Pakistan like the late Benazir Bhutto did in 2007.

While criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shah said that those who are in government are sitting abroad. “We are being told they won’t come back to Pakistan, this is not how you run governments,” he said.

Khurshid Shah said that government can’t be run with the fear of death. “If you want to save the system, you have to give sacrifices,” he said. “When cases were filed against PPP our names were placed in exit control list, why isn’t NAB putting the names of PML-N leaders on ECL?” he asked.

Earlier, former president Gen retd Pervez Musharraf had accused Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari of assasinating her wife Benazir Bhutto on November 27, 2007. He also accused Zardari of murdering Murtaza Bhutto on September 26, 1996.
