    Anti-narcotics court judge on Wednesday stopped the hearing of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah’s case midway after receiving transfer order.

    “It is murder of justice. You are being transferred because our case is strong,” Sanaullah’s counsel said during the hearing. “The government intends to linger on the case.”

    “I have just received a Whatsapp message, the Lahore High Court has repatriated me. I cannot lend my expertise to this case any more,” Justice Masood Arshad said during today’s hearing against Rana Sanaullah.

    The council for Rana Sanaullah, while talking to the media outside the court, said that this [development] was unprecedented.

    “It seems like the government is trying to decide which judge they want the verdict from,” he alleged.

    The court extended  Rana Sanaullah’s judicial remand for 10 days and adjourned the hearing of the case until September 07.
