Samsam Bukhari, provincial information minister of Punjab on Friday slammed opposition for doing politics to safeguard a man who is detained after the court found him guilty in corruption references.

Talking to media in Okara he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have exposed themselves by joining hands.

He said, “The masses will only see a budget after Eid as there will be no anti-government movement.”

“Zardari and Nawaz both are fooling each other,” he added.

“The government is fully committed to overcoming the crisis as we were surrounded by the crisis when we came into power,” he further added.

“PML-N’s politics revolves around corrupt individuals and Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken a firm decision to tackle the corrupt elements,” he said.

“We will not join hands with any corrupt element to protect ourselves while PPP and PML-N will go beyond any limits to safeguard their corruption,” he added.

“I have heard that Shahbaz is returning to Pakistan but I urge him to bring back Ishaq Dar with him too,” he concluded.
