Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid on Monday termed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s report regarding his kidneys as normal.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz had said that her jailed father is suffering from kidneys problem, which needs to be treated with immediate effect.

“I will say the report of Sharif is critical”, the minister said while expressing her views with the journalists in Lahore, here today.

She said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo was being provided every facility of treatment in the Kot Lakhpat Jail.

The minister said, what one can do, if the patient [Sharif] was denying to be treated.

Responding to a query, she claimed that efforts were made to hack medical report of the erstwhile prime minister.

Taking on Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz, she said, her tweet has exposed personal number of the patient.

Earlier on March 3, reacting over Nawaz’s refusal from being shifted back to the hospital, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid had said, seems like three times prime minister does not like Pakistan’s hospital.

Nawaz Sharif, incarcerated at the prison since December, 2018 after his conviction in a corruption case, has been suffering from various health problems.

The apex court last week also reserved its verdict on a petition seeking his bail on health grounds.
