Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Saturday has arrived at Balloki Headworks in Kasur to launch the ‘10 billion tree plantation project.
Meanwhile, he planted a sapling at the forest reserve.
Earlier, the PM took to Twitter and firmly stated that government-owned lands would be recovered from land grabbers and would be transformed into forests and wildlife parks in a bid to curb climate change and pollution in Pakistan.
Reportedly, under ‘Plant for Pakistan’ drive, a forest reserve would be developed on 1,500 acres of land.
