  • Assets case: Bank Submits accounts detail of Shehbaz Sharif in NAB

    A representative of the Private Bank has submitted a detailed and thorough report of Bank account of Former Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office in Lahore today.

    According to details, a bank private representative has submitted a comprehensive report in Assets beyond income case in NAB, which consisted of over 500 pages.

    Earlier on November 09, Shehbaz’s son Hamza Shehbaz appeared in the NAB’s office in Lahore in assets beyond income case.

    NAB also called upon Salman Shehbaz in assets case although, he was not able to comply as he was abroad.Earlier on November 01, the Lahore High Court (LHC) accepted Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz’s plea for protective bail.

    A two-judge bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi heard the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s plea in which he had stated that he feared that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will arrest him.

    Accepting Hamza’s plea, the court granted him protective bail till November 13 and ordered that the PML-N leader not be arrested till the next hearing. The bench also issued a notice to the accountability watchdog and summoned a reply on Hamza’s plea.
