    According to the details, the pregnant wife of a kiln labourer was brought to Raiwind Hospital, who was experiencing severe labour pains, but the hospital staff refused to admit her.

    A woman gave birth in her washroom after staff at Raiwind Hospital refused to treat her. Her relatives took her at home in the condition, where she gave birth a baby in her bathroom.
    When their condition turned critical, her relatives again brought them to the hospital and pleaded the staff to give them treatment but the hospital staff turned a deaf ear to their appeals.Earlier on October 16, 2017, a woman in Raiwind had gave birth outside the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), Raiwind after staff at the hospital refused to treat her.

    Initial investigation conducted by the hospital suggests that a lady health worker refused Sameera Bibi  who was experiencing severe labour pains  any medical help because “there were no doctors available at the hospital in the early hours of the morning.” No Rescue 1122 ambulances were available at the hospital.
