People in the city will present former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz with a crown at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz social media convention which will be held on Saturday.
Sargodha Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed will present Maryam with the gold crown weighing 20 tolas. The crown is said to be made on order and is a gift to her from locals.
Prior to this, Maryam was given a crown in Sheikhupura made of gold and embellished with diamonds. The crown was a gift from local traders to the former first daughter who was in Sheikhupura for a public gathering.
In Sargodha, Maryam will be present at Company Bagh later in the day to address the social media workers convention of PML-N. The stage has been set at the venue to welcome the former premier’s daughter.
