Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is all set to stage a political power show at Lahore’s Mochi Gate on Monday (today) to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari will address the party jialas on Kashmir Day, and preparations have been finalized in this regard.
Banners with pictures of party leaders are displayed in the city along with PPP flags, and party songs will be played in the rally.
A 70-feet long, 24-feet wide and 10-feet high stage has been made for the leadership, and security is beefed up for the event. More than 300 cameras under Safe City Project will monitor the situation.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah, PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan and others will attend the rally with Asif Ali Zardari.
