    Although religious parties ended their countrywide protest on Monday, one faction is still on the roads in Lahore, demanding Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s resignation.

    According to our correspondent, the supporters of a religious party are staging sit-in outside Punjab Assembly, disrupting traffic in heart of the city.

    The religious party workers want Rana Sanaullah to step down and call upon the government to public the report of Raja Zafar-ul-Haq Committee that determines as to who was behind the controversial amendment in Khatme Nabuwat oath in Election Bill 2017.

    Education institutions remained closed in Lahore for the second day today over law and order situation whereas the business activities have resumed since yesterday when religious parties announced to end their weeks-long protest.
