The leader of ruling party PML-N and daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz planned to launch door to door campaign for votes to her mother Kalsoom Nawaz, who is candidate in by poll but due to throat cancer went through surgery in London.
She announced the decision presiding over the party meeting in NA-120 constituency which was also attended by senator Pervaiz Rasheed, federal minister Pervez Malik, Majid Zahoor, Mian Marghoob, Khawaja Ahsan and other senior leaders.
She directed the local leadership to resolve what the reservation workers have and give them space to work with full capacity. Meeting also mulled the election campaign strategy in future.
Maryam Nawaz directed the workers to enhance door to door contact and work day and night for the victory of the PML-N candidate.
It is mentioned that the NA-120 seat fell vacant after disqualification of then PM Nawaz Sharif by the Supreme Court in Panama case verdict.
