    Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) to stage a massive demonstration on Thursday (today) against power load-shedding in the provincial capital city where key party leaders expected to deliver public speeches on the ongoing civic issues in the city.

    The huge camp has been established at Nasir Bagh where party banners have also been placed while the roads, streets, and passage to the camp have been decorated with party leaders’ pictures and flags.

    Punjab party leaders including Qamar Zaman Kaira inspected the arrangements till Wednesday late night.

    Meanwhile, Kaira has also directed the party activists across the province to reach the protest venue and participate with maximum strength.

    A convoy of PPP activists from Rawalpindi is also to reach the demonstration venue.

    It is pertinent to mention that PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira yesterday announced a massive demonstration against ongoing power load-shedding, affecting the economic activities.

    Calling on party activists, Kaira yesterday also said that government has failed to overcome the power outages. He directed the party activists across the province to ensure their participation in protest.
